Tensile Membrane Structure is not very popular in the Eastern part of our country. The main reason for this is to lack of awareness and unavailabilities of fabricators in this region. The fabrics those are used for these types of structure are not readily available here and are slightly costlier than ordinary fabric. While doing extensive marketing survey, we have seen that most of the architects and fabricators in Eastern India are not really aware of the benefits of the Tensile Membrane; that is why they do not suggest their clients to go for that. But when we discussed with the general people about the utility and benefits of this Tensile Fabric structure they showed tremendous interest. This is the main reason we have decided to develop a separate infrastructure for Tensile Membrane Structure in Kolkata.

TensileShades is a new infrastructure where we have brought some of the senior and experienced fabricators who have machineries for developing Tensile Membrane shades. We have also coordinated with the Indian counter part of Ferrari and Mehler Texnologies for the structural development of the Tensile Membrane Architecture.

Engineering: Tensile Membrane Structure is built on light steel structure. It should be safe and sustainable structure. It requires complete engineering analysis to check the optimum steel and fabric consumption.

Manufacturing: We are having our own manufacturing unit where we normally do the steel bending, steel welding, fabric cutting, fabric sewing, fabric heat sealing etc. We are having the complete setup of manufacturing the different components of Tensile Membrane Structure and also have the capacity to install the entire structure as a whole.

Installation: We are associated a team of installer who are trained and are well equipped to install the large membrane structure. Normally the hydra crane, fork lift and scissor lift are used to install the light weight tensile structure. These installers are habituated to install the structure maintaining a strict dead line.
